When the doors to the Franklin Theatre were shut down in January 2007, there was an immediate outcry from the community to do something...anything to "Save the Franklin Theatre." The Heritage Foundation raised more than $8 million to purchase and restore the then 70 year-old Franklin Theatre in October 2007. Originally built in 1937, the restrored Franklin Theatre reopened to great fanfare in 2011.
The Next Generation Heritage Foundation is the proud funding sponsor of the 1937 replica marquee for the Franklin Theatre. They have pledged a gift of $100,000 to pay for the marquee and proceeds from
Three Blind Vines will go towards this pledge.
